Continentals 48V system for low emissions technology

In a recent interview with autoX

At the Frankfurt auto show Jan 2020 Continental showcased their 48V system which are cost effective and promises reduction in emissions

Continentals 48V hybrid drive tech provides benefits of conventional, fully hybrid vehicle and lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. CO2 emissions reduced by 20% with similar vehicles having IC engines.

48V technology is cheaper than the high voltage system till now.

Continental also talks about various high power solution.
